The ESTEL S5 Series Automatic Transfer Switch Equipment (ATSE) is suitable for AC power systems with a frequency of 50/60Hz, rated working voltage of AC220/230V (2P), AC380/400V (3P/4P), and a rated working current from 16A to 630A. It automatically switches one or several load circuits from one power source to another to ensure the normal power supply to the load circuits. This ATSE is suitable for important places like industrial, commercial, high-rise buildings, and residential areas.
1.1 Surrounding Control Temperature: -5℃ ~ +40℃.
1.2 Atmospheric Conditions: The relative humidity of the air should not exceed 50% at the maximum surrounding temperature of +40°C. At lower temperatures, higher humidity is allowed. At an average lowest temperature of +25°C, the monthly average maximum relative humidity is 90%. Consideration should be given to condensation on surfaces due to temperature changes.
1.3 Altitude: The installation location should not exceed 2000m in altitude.
1.4 Pollution Level: The environmental pollution level at the installation site is Class 3.
1.5 Mounting Type: Vertical.
1.6 Installation Category: III.
101-102: External indicator light for the status of Power Supply I, no-load signal port.
201-202: External indicator light for the status of Power Supply II, no-load signal port.
301-303: Communication ports for remote control of ATSE actions, reading switch status parameters, and fault codes.
401-402: Programmable, no-load, closed input ports. These can be defined for fire alarm linkage, prohibition of switching, or remote control. Select one of these three options. The default setting is fire alarm linkage.
403-404: Programmable, no-load, closed output ports. These can be defined for fault alarm, grid alarm, load shedding, fire feedback, or output for the two power supplies. Select one of these five options. When the selected function is triggered, the internal contact of the controller closes, outputting a signal. The default setting is fire feedback.
501-502: Default signal output port for generator start/stop. When Power Supply I is abnormal and Power Supply II has no power, internal contacts close, sending a no-load closed signal to start the generator. When the ATSE detects that Power Supply I has returned to normal, the internal contacts open, sending a generator stop signal. If the dual power supply output function is enabled, this terminal is defined as the Power Supply II abnormal output. When Power Supply II is abnormal, internal contacts close, sending an II abnormal signal.
601-602: Auxiliary power input ports. When the product requires delayed generator startup or needs remote monitoring when both power supplies are without power, a DC24V auxiliary power supply must be connected.
Pre-Power-On Inspection: After installation and wiring, it is recommended to inspect the setup to prevent errors. Check if the installation and wiring are correct, especially the main terminals like the power busbar. Ensure external signal lights are connected properly and check for short circuits. Tighten busbar screws reliably. It is recommended to disconnect the load before the first power-on adjustment. After confirming no issues, proceed with power- on testing.
